We are looking forward to kicking off the new school year with our topic ‘People who Help us’. This topic will give the children lots of exciting learning opportunities which we look forward to sharing with you in the coming weeks.

Pancake Day
Class 1 have been learning about fruit, vegetables and healthy eating. We made some “Happy Healthy Pancake Faces” on Pancake Day. They were delicious!

Autumn Term
It is wonderful to welcome back our children and welcome our new starters. The children have all settled really well and are working hard on learning new routines and class rules.
This term we will be carrying out learning based on our topic ‘Superheroes’.

Class 1 Autumn Term information for Parents 2015
We have been very busy in Nursery. Here are some more photographs of our recent learning.
We have been to The Moon!
Class 1 went on an exciting journey to The Moon… well Crook Library really! It was amazing! We listened to the story ‘The Man on The Moon’ then we further explored the story with a range of crafts and games based upon the book.
When we finally got back to Earth, we made some unusual aliens!
In Class 1, we have been reading the story ‘The Gingerbread Man’ so we have been busy making delicious gingerbread men to eat.
