Peases West Primary School has been awarded Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA).
The RRSA recognises achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) at the heart of a school’s planning, policies, practice and ethos. A rights-respecting school not only teaches about children’s rights but also models rights and respect in all its relationships: between pupils and adults, between adults and between pupils.
Below you will find information on the rights of a child which relate directly to school life.
Our Happy School Charter was developed with the children and sets out how we can ensure that everybody is safe, happy and included. In addition to the School Charter, each class has its own Rights Respecting Charter Display.
